This cafe and camp site is located in Takakuhei, Nasu Town. The spacious grounds feature a freely available camping site where you can experience the grandeur of Nasu’s natural scenery, as well as a cafe that serves drip coffee, handmade cakes, pizza, and more (pets allowed). There’s also porcelain art and other activities available. The site and facilities can be rented for events.

初めての那須高原旅行の際、ホテルに向かう途中でお茶の為に立ち寄りました。お店に向かう入口付近が分かりづらく注意が必要です。奥まった場所にお店の建物があって、広大な庭園、池などが綺麗に整備されていました。テラス席はワンコ同伴でもＯＫと言うことで、綺麗な庭園を眺めながら寛げました。キャンプも出来るようです。水だしアイスコーヒーを注文、なかなか良いコーヒーの香りもしっかりあって美味しかったです...

"A natural hot spring bathhouse surrounded by wild beauty located in Nasushiobara City. Adjoined by a hotel, visitors can enjoy a hot spring bath day-use or stay the night. The bathhouse constantly replenishes its baths ""kakenagashi"" style exclusively from a natural alkaline spring. Facilities include an outdoor bath, indoor bath, bath heated from below, cascading shower bath, jet bath, and infrared sauna. In addition, the bathhouse is replete with a rest lounge, restaurant, massage corner, and shop."

アルカリ9.27度のぬるっとしたツルツルになる温泉です。黒磯駅から自転車で15分くらい右手に大きな看板が出ています。黒磯駅から一番近い日帰り温泉です。シャンプー、ボディソープ備え付き、大人700円です。地元の人が多く、洗い場は20箇所くらい、天井も高く開放感があります。温泉は数十人入れる内湯、打たせ湯、水風呂、サウナと露天風呂でお湯も熱すぎずのんびりできます。

Tochigi Pref. Nasugunnasumachi Yumoto

This stone is on the northern side of Nasu Onsen-jinja Shrine in Yumoto, Nasu Town. Legends say that the hydrogen sulfide and other poisonous gases being expelled in the area represent the lingering grudge of a nine-tailed fox that morphed into a beautiful woman and kidnapped the emperor. Matsuo Basho visited the area as well and left behind a poem, and this place has been designated a National Place of Scenic Beauty as one of the locations featured in Basho’s “Oku no Hosomichi (The Narrow Road to the Deep North).” There is walkway around the area, but because gases are still being emitted in the vicinity, crossing the fence and approaching the site is not allowed.

This museum focuses on the construction and discovery of the National Treasure-designated Nasu no Kuni no Miyatsuko no Hi, an ancient stone monument inscribed with calligraphic characters. The museum introduces the local Naka River basin, the location of the monument and numerous other historical cultural properties; the historical background of the Nasu no Kuni no Miyatsuko no Hi; the results of excavations of the nearby Samuraizuka Kofun tombs; and other historic sites and artefacts found in the area. The Nasu no Kuni no Miyatsuko no Hi, enshrined on the grounds of Kasaishi Shrine in the Yuzukami district, is inscribed with 152 characters across eight vertical lines of 19 characters each. Along with the Tagahi in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture and the Tagajohi in Tagajo City, Miyagi Prefecture, this monument is counted as one of the Three Great Stone Monuments of Japan and is considered of extreme importance in the history of calligraphy. Many museum-goers also visit the nearby National Historic Site-designated Shimo-Samuraizuka Kofun tomb and the Nakagawa Municipal Nasu Fudoki no Oka Museum.

展示の部屋は、約2部屋だけで、あまり広くはありませんが、ちょうどよいです。向かい側にある下侍塚古墳とあわせて観光するのがおすすめです。

陽光になって時間が経ってから（？）完全中華料理ランチへ。なぜか自家製キムチもあり、これが美味しい。本格中華だと万人受けしないのか、昭和の街の中華屋さんメニュー。どうせ中華なら湖南や四川の本格中華のメニューも出して個性を出して欲しい。冷麺の細麺は私にはイマイチでした。

This Asia-inspired mini theme park is located along the Nasu Road in Tsumujiga-daira Yumoto, Nasu Town. There are three areas with various shops that sell goods from Bali, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal, India. In addition, the “Ubudo Restaurant” offers Bali cuisine, and the “Mekon Restaurant” offers Vietnam and Thai cuisine as well as drinks for takeout.

"An ancient temple located at the entrance of Nasu's hot spring district. It is said the temple got its name in the early 1800s when a Kurobane clan princess was cured by prayers there when she fell ill and was unable to eat. The sites of Kyodaiseki and Juzuwari-ishi on the precincts have ties to the famous Buddhist priest Nichiren. The monument dedicated to the Buddhist school's mantra is about 1.2 meters high and 67 centimeters wide. It's said in ancient times Nichiren came to Nasu to recuperate from an illness and carved the mantra ""Namu Myoho Renge Kyo"" into the stone when he was healed. The important monument is the temple's principal object of worship."
