A day-trip hot spring in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. This 100% free flowing natural hot spring is known as Kanto's final secret hot spring. Come enjoy their open-air bath which first opened in 1929 as well as their mixed bathing bath and ladies only waterfall bath. They are known for their gentle water quality which soaks into the skin and is less irritating and less of a burden to the body.

地元民に愛されている温泉。市民は200円、市外者は410円と安く入浴出来ます。無色透明の単純泉。公衆浴場タイプの温泉で浴室内もさほど広くはない。入浴者のほとんどが市内在住の方と思われます。だいや川公園遊んだ後の汗を流すのに利用もいいですね。

A day-use hot spring facility at Oku-Nikko Yumoto Onsen, also called Nikko Okuzashiki. Visitors can relax while taking in the scenery from the facility's bath with a view. The clean and airy building has these as well as outdoor baths in both the men's and women's bathing areas. Its natural sulfur spring, also known as Yakushi-yu, is reputed to have skin beautifying properties and help alleviate nerve pain, chronic digestive diseases, and high blood pressure. Occasionally they close earlier than the published time, so it's best to call and confirm they'll be open if you want to come at night.

湯元温泉に来ていた。この湯元温泉には日帰り入浴施設が2つあり今、「源泉ゆの香」に入浴し、もう一軒も入浴しようとやって来たのは「ゆ処山月五識の湯」。この湯元温泉の日帰り専用施設は、どちらも小さく「ゆ処山月五識の湯」の方は、露天風呂においては展望が全くない為改善を望む。

It's been called ""Shinkeitsu-no-yu"" since ancient times and is said to help speed recovery from illness and surgery. Free shuttle buses accessing nearby facilities are available from Tuesday to Friday."

市営の温泉なので市民は３１０円市民外は５００円での料金となります。内湯と露天風呂がありますが、別の場所に有り入り直すには服を着て行かなくてはならず面倒です。食事処もありますが風呂が１０時からなのに対して食事処は１１時から１５時迄となっています。休憩室は沢山ありますが市民のお年を召した方々の憩いの場となって居る感じでした。

Soraburo is the hot spring bath facility of the Chuzenji Kanaya Hotel located north of Lake Chuzenji. Bathers can enjoy the natural, emerald green waters of the facility’s baths, which are constantly replenished from a hot spring 12 kilometers away in Okunikko. The bathhouse’s true pride, however, is its scenery. Fresh verdure, autumn colors, or a magical snowscape greets bathers from beyond the large windows facing the baths, while a star-filled sky delights visitors to the outdoor bath at night. Most visits to Tochigi revolve around Nikko, a small city home to the spectacular, lavishly decorated Toshogu Shrine and Nikko National Park with its mountains, lakes, waterfalls, onsen, and wild monkeys.
