- This roadside rest area can be reached by taking the Hitachi-minami Ota Interchange on the Joban Expressway, heading towards Hitachi, taking a right at the Owada intersection on National Route 6, and traveling a further 500 meters. Owned and operated by local marine products company Tobikan Suisan, the facility carries an abundance of fresh seafood literally just brought in at Kuji Fishing Port and other fishing ports in Ibaraki Prefecture. The facility's restaurant serves vaunted, fresh seafood; a deep fried, breaded shrimp combo meal made with huge shrimp; and, from December to February, goosefish hotpot. A variety of events are also held here, such as a monthly tuna butchering show.
