- A Japanese confectionary shop and cafe established in 1932 located north along National Route 302 travelling from Yuki Station on the JR Mito Line. The shop's yude manju boiled buns, a traditional confection known for its slipper and chewy texture which has been made in the region since the late Edo period, are crafted with select adzuki beans from Tokachi in Hokkaido and have an elegantly sweet flavor. The shop's cafe au lait daifuku, made with cafe au lait flavored mochi rice cake wrapped around homemade sweet red bean paste and whipped cream, are also popular. Customers can enjoy the shop's confections and seasonal lunch dishes in the adjoining Japanese-style cafe area.

- A horseback riding club located a five-minute drive from Yamato Station on the JR Mito Line. The club offers an environment in which men and women of all ages can enjoy horseback riding. The club offers horseback riding lessons which include conscientious instruction for those who have never ridden before, horse trekking with trotting sections for those with experience, and more. The club also offers horseback archery using real bows and arrows. The club rents the appropriate archery wear and equipment and instruction is provided personally by the club president. Thanks to exposure via SNS, there are many participants from foreign countries as well.

- A strawberry farm located 500 meters west of the Kujira Intersection on National Route 294. Once the plants begin to bear fruit, the farm uses no agricultural chemicals whatsoever, aiming to produce safe, healthy strawberries using only temperature and water management alone. From January to the end of May, the farm offers Tochiotome strawberry picking. The farm works to ensure everyone can enjoy strawberry picking. All of the farm's strawberries are grown using raised planters, making picking a breeze; the wide lanes between planters also ensure persons using wheelchairs and strollers can easily enter. The farm's shop sells its strawberries as well as strawberries for making jams, not normally sold in supermarkets; and tomatoes from Ishige Farm.

- A museum in Nagatsuka-Otsu, Shimotsuma City. It’s housed in a building modeled on the castle of the Tagaya clan who ruled the area during the Warring States period. Its permanent exhibit has items related to the locality divided into themes of History, the Battle with Water, Farming Life, and Famous People Connected to the Area. There's also a planned exhibit room, a lecture hall, and a hands-on-learning and study room. The Yokose Yau Memorial Room displays the handwritten manuscripts of Yokose Yau, a poet from the city.

- A museum located on Ekimae Kura-dori Street in Yuki, Yuki City. Yuki-tsumugi pongee is the oldest variety of silk fabric in Japan, and it's been registered as an UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The facility has yuki-tsumugi related exhibits, demonstrations of the silk making process, etc. They also sell pongee silk and hold hands-on weaving workshops.

- A miso brewery on Ekimae Kura-dori Street in Yuki, Yuki City. Established in 1832, they still sell koji miso starter and miso they make with a devotion to natural fermentation through traditional methods. Their additive-free fermented rice beverage is also popular. The Misegura building and shop was built in the Taisho era and is registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property.

- This park is located in Yuki, Yuki City. The entire area surrounding the Yuki Castle ruins is maintained as a historical park. In the spring, it is famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot where the Yoshino cherry trees planted throughout the park, and the Yuki Sakura festival, which attracts large crowds is also held here.

There are a variety of teas available, such as hojicha, genmaicha, and tokumushicha that has been steamed for more than twice the normal time.

- A memorial hall in Chuo-cho3 Chome, Koga City. Takami Senseki was a scholar of Dutch studies who spent his final years in the Koga Domain. The samurai residence he lived in has been opened to the public as the memorial museum. A rare non-Japanese maple tree in the garden has been designated a city Natural Monument.

- A senbei rice cracker shop located a 20 minute drive from JR Shimodate Station. Here you can buy senbei and dango dumplings made with select ingredients by Sekiguchi Jouzou, a soy sauce maker which has been brewing soy sauce for ages in the seasonally rich Mt. Tsukuba area. In the bright and spacious shop area, you'll find shelves lined with a great variety of products, like the popular Tsukeyaki, rice crackers dipped twice in pure, raw soy sauce, but only on one side, before being baked; and the chewy and light Amakuchi Shittorisen. You can sample almost all of the products on offer to choose and purchase your favorites.
