水戸駅南口から徒歩10分かからない。桜川のそばにある。偕楽園まで歩くと30分ほどかかるが、千波湖を眺めながら散歩がてら行くのも悪くない。 部屋は広くないし、大浴場ももちろんないリーズナブルなホテル。ただ、フロント横にあるセルフサービスのアメニティは豊富。ポンプのシャンプー、コンディショナーは種類が多く、早い者勝ちで好きなものを選べる。フェイスマスクまであり、楽しい。

一泊で利用しました。チェックイン時のフロントにはブラシや入浴剤、お茶などのアメニティがあり必要な数だけ持っていくシステムです。女性の宿泊客には化粧水や乳液のセットをもらえます。ちょっと歩くと水戸駅やコンビニ、飲食店もあるので便利です。チェックアウト後の荷物も預かってくれます。朝食のバイキングは数は少ないですがどれも美味しいです。目の前でオムレツを作ってくれます。

チェックインの時に無料ドリンク券を貰えます。 ドリンクはロビーでの受け取りで当日の21時までに頼めば部屋に持ち込みか可能だし、私は頂きませんでしたが希望すればセルフで夕食にうどんが食べられます。 駅前ではないものの徒歩圏で無料の朝食付き、少ないけれどロビーに置いてある漫画等も部屋で読めるし、お得感満載過剰なサービスを必要としない人に良いホテルだと思いました。 リーズナブルな料金なことも嬉しいです。

駅から近く、コンビニもそばにあるの便利です。バスルームが一段高くなっていて、段差が結構大きいので、ご年配の方とかは大変だし危険だと思います。でも清掃中の他の部屋を覗いた感じだと、段差がないお部屋もあるような…? また、向かいの部屋のドアの開け閉めの音が響くので、敏感な方は気になるかな。
