"A historic structure located next to Numao Shrine a 10-minute walk from the ""Takedahoncho"" bus stop. Takeda Ward in Hitachinaka City is where the Kai Takeda clan, the clan of the famous samurai lord Takeda Shingen, is believed to have originated. This residence for the Takeda clan is said to have been built near the location of the home of the progenitor of the clan-Minamoto no Yoshikiyo who, along with his son Kiyomitsu, was banished to Kai Province and took up the name ""Takeda"" after the name of the local area. The current residence is a reconstruction built in the early shoin-zukuri style as would have been used by the Takeda clan in the Kamakura period when they were a powerful local family. Inside the residence are exhibits such as a Takeda family tree, mannequins dressed in samurai costumes, and period arms and armor."

"A historical building in the Ichinoseki Tameike Water Park in Sugaya, Naka City. Built in 1862, the thatched-roof traditional house was transferred from another city location and rebuilt on the grounds of the park. Visitors can see its ""magari-ya,"" an architectural feature that connected houses, stables, and storehouses in Tohoku and parts of northern Kanto."

Oarai Beach, part of the Oarai Prefectural Seaside Park, is located along Oarai Town, Higashiibaraki County, Ibaraki Prefecture. Famous for fishing spots, the Oarai lighthouse, and especially New Year’s sunrises seen through the Kamiiso Torii built on the rocky outcropping with the sound of great breaking waves. This 1.2 kilometer long beach attracts many visitors in the summer. The Oarai Beach was chosen as one of Japan’s Top 100 Shorelines and Top 100 White Sand Beaches with Pine Groves.

This long-standing shop was established in 1897 and has been making safe, healthy, additive-free hoshiimo for 120 years. The shop offers over 30 varieties of hoshiimo crafted with an emphasis on the tenderness and sweetness of the flesh. The shop also sells rakkyo pickled Japanese leek, baked sweet potatoes, and gelato-all additive free. The gelato, made to maximize the innate flavors of the ingredients used, is also created without eggs. The shop offers six varieties of sweet potato gelato; other flavors, like pineapple and matcha powdered green tea are also recommended.

This is a Shingon Buddhist temple of the chizan sect in Naka City. There is an approximately 16-meter tall statue of Bishamonten, at the entrance to the temple that is said to be the tallest of its kind in Japan. It was modeled after the work of the artist Unkei, whose wood-carved statue of Bishamonten is housed in the Bishamon Hall. The original statue was created in the mid-Kamakura period, and is designated a Cultural Property of the prefecture. This temple is also the seventh temple of the pilgrimage stops along the Kaiunka temple pilgrimage route that visits the primary eight-bodies of gods which protect the year of your birth, one of twelve horary signs. Owned and operated by Yamasa Suisan, the largest fish retailer in the Nakaminato Fish Market, the restaurant's popularity stems from both its large variety of large, fresh sushi and its excellent value. The restaurant's stunning sushi is twice the size of sushi served elsewhere. The restaurant's seasonal seafood comes from the nearby Nakaminato Fishing Port, ensuring it's impeccably fresh. Almost always bustling with customers, inside customers will find a sign indicating the day's recommendations. The restaurant also offers an all-you-can-eat with an advance reservation for a party of 10 or more people.

2年前はコロナでの自粛が始まったばかりだったので並ばずに入れたが、流石に自粛解除後なので混んでおり50人ほど並んでいたが30分くらいで入れた。昼時は混雑する様だが開店直後ならこんな感じで食事が出来る。味は新鮮でリーズナブル、また行きたい。

The restaurant's ""Tokusen Kaisen-don"" rice bowl is particularly popular and covered with so much seafood, you can't even see the rice underneath. Another of the restaurant's pluses is that customers can enjoy seasonal Oarai flavors like rock oysters in the summer and goosefish nabe hotpot in the fall. The restaurant's ""Ryoshi no Dobujiru"" seafood miso soup, made without any water added, is limited to just one customer a day. 年末訪問前日に電話連絡したところ奇跡的に席が空いていました。土曜にもかかわらず。予約の電話で席だけ予約しようと思ったんですが、要予約のどぶ汁を強く勧められ、それに従いました。それは正解でした。アンコウそのものの味はほとんど記憶に残っていません。どぶ汁のつゆと白菜の相性が最高すぎます。思わず白菜を追加したほどです。

This park in Shizu, Naka City is on the hill on the west side of the Shizu-jinja Shrine grounds. It has different kinds of cherry trees, including about 2,000 of the double-flowered variety. A burial mound and nationally designated Historic Site in Nakane Sashibu, Hitachinaka City. Thought to have been built around the beginning of the 7th century, the key-hole shaped tumulus is 56. 5 meters long. Excavations that began in 1973 revealed a colored mural in the stone chamber, as well as human remains, ancient burial accessories, and other artifacts. There is a conservation facility on-site, and the mural is open to the public twice a year in spring and autumn.
