    This Kirin factory produces Kirin Ichiban Shibori and Heartland beers, and with an advance reservation you can go on a free tour. Tour-goers can see the production process, taste and compare first-press and second-press beer wort, try beer malt, and sample Kirin beers and soft drinks. The factory's family tours every Saturday and Sunday, Heartland tours every second Saturday of the month, and special paid tours held once a month are also popular.

    The tour itself takes about an hour, and focuses on the Ichiban Shibori Kirin brand, explaining the brewing process, what makes it special, and views of the various stages of the subsequent bottling...

    The Tsukuba Space Center is a facility encompassing approximately 530,000 square meters, surrounded by nature, and with state-of-the-art testing facilities. At the center, visitors can learn about space development research and various initiatives as a development site through exhibitions and inspection tours. Visitors are free to look around the center and reservations are unnecessary for individuals. There are five guided tours conducted daily.

    A factory located a five-minute drive from the Ami-higashi interchange on the Ken-O Expressway. The factory, opened in 2014, makes Megmilk Snow Brand dairy products such as processed cheeses and margarine. The factory makes some 200 varieties of products, making it the largest operated by Megmilk Snow Brand. Visitors can have fun here while learning about cheese and margarine, take commemorative photos using special photo sets, try a virtual reality experience which shows how cheese is made, and sample some of the company's products.

    町内会で予約、最新のチーズ工場見学をしました。2014年から稼働、ここで雪印のチーズやマーガリンを製造、全国に出荷してるそうです。初めに大型スクリーンで工場の概要を見てから見学しますが、ロボット導入で人がとても少なかったです。途中、VR(バーチャルリアリティ)体験、幼稚園の年長児くらいから楽しめそうです。最後にチーズの試食、売店でお買い物も出来ました。人気で予約が取りにくいようですがお勧めです。

    "A brewery located a 15-minute drive from the Naka interchange on the Joban Expressway. The brewery makes and sells local beers in Daigo Town under the catchphrase, ""Local Daigo beers only drinkable in Daigo."" The quality and temperature of Daigo's spring water remains stable throughout the year, and it is used to make ""Yamizo Shinrin no Beer,"" a variety which has won much acclaim from local beer fans. The beer is offered in four types-a pilsner, weizenbier, helles, and special seasonal variety. Each is an exquisite beverage full-bodied and rich in flavor."

    お店は、ログハウスのような作りで、暖かい感じのお店です。 地ビールも何種類もあるので、楽しめるとおもいます。 お料理もビールにあったお料理で、とても美味しかったです。

    A sake brewery established in the Edo period located a 10-minute walk from the north exit of JR Yuki Station. The brewery building was originally built in the Ansei era; this and the large brick chimney added on in the Meiji period are designated a National Tangible Cultural Property. Visitors can enjoy food along with Fukufuku, a traditional and renowned sake which has been brewed since the Edo period, served at various temperatures. Yuiyui, another of the brewery's famous sakes, is decorated with a design created by a local calligrapher depicting a thread ring surrounding the character for good fortune. Made with underground water from the Kinugawa River system, this sake is characterized by its mild flavor.

    結城市木町交差点近くにあり、井戸水を使った昔ながらの製法でお酒を造っている[結城酒造]さんになります。好適米「山田錦」を自家栽培して仕込んだ大吟醸酒『富久福』が、平成14年の全国新酒鑑評会で金賞を受賞しました。酒蔵は江戸時代に建てられたもので老舗の趣があり、常時見学できます(要予約)。

    A recycling plant located along the Live Line connecting Prefectural Routes 125 and 56. Visitors can tour the plant and watch as plastic trays from supermarkets and other materials and separated and recycled. After the tour, visitors can watch a DVD explaining the plant's workings and ask a representative question, making the facility an excellent place to learn how recycling is actually carried out. Tours are reservation only; applications are accepted over the Internet and via fax machine. Two tours are offered every weekday starting at 9:00 and 13:00. Tour-goers can also have a bento box lunch from the plant sold at cost.

    Located a seven-minute drive from Kurihashi Station on the JR Utsunomiya Line, visitors to the factory can learn about the production process involved in making the products which bear the Yakult name, a company founded in 1955. The facility makes use of easy to understand videos, ensuring visitors of all ages can have fun and learn. Yakult products have long been a favorite of Japanese households, and the strict safety standards employed here as well as the overwhelming scale of the facility also make the factory an excellent topic for a child's summer vacation school research project. Tours are offered from Monday through Saturday and take around one hour. Tour-goers can view production processes up close and also sample Yakult products.

    A historic sake brewery established in 1804 located a five-minute drive from the Itako interchange on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway. Located near a river where traditional yomeiribune (bridal boats) can still be seen plying the waters, the brewery makes local sakes utilizing excellent water, excellent rice, and the refined skills of its chief brewer which have received high praise not only in Japan but around the world. The brewery actively participates in competitions and seeks to continually improve the quality of its products. The brewery also offers 30 to 40-minute long tours which give participants access to rarely seen aspects of the sake brewing process. The brewery also offers sake tasting and has a direct sales shop and welcomes visitors.

    取手駅から徒歩10分ほど。旧本陣染井家住宅に向かう途中にあります。こちらの酒蔵と隣の奈良漬新六の店舗が並んでいて、どちらも風情のある店構えです。

    ブルガリアヨーグルトやR-1などの生産ラインが見学できる施設です。明治乳業の会社説明や、乳酸菌の働き、カルシウムの大事さなどをレクチャーしてくれます。説明の主な対象は小学校高学年くらいな感じでしょうか。生産ラインの様子はやや遠めでしたが、なかなか興味深かったです。 売店や食堂などはないため、かなり純粋に見学、な印象です。
