    A farm-themed amusement facility dedicated to nature, agriculture, and food located a 10-minute drive from the Tsukuba-Ushiku interchange. There's a farm-fresh shop, activity farm, barbecue hall, and bamboo forest, giving visitors the chance to come in contact with food education and local agriculture surrounded by natural beauty. The buffet-style restaurant serves dishes made with fresh, seasonal vegetables and handmade hams and sausages. The facility also holds sausage making classes on weekends using roast pork from Ibaraki Prefecture.

    野菜直売所巡りでここにたどり着く。レストラン併設で隣が野菜売り場、海の幸や肉類もあった気がする。他の直売所と比べて高級、品質も値段も高い。その中で見つけた豊水梨、ずっと食べたかったシャキシャキの甘酸っぱい梨、落涙モノ。お値段もしっかりしていたが久々に美味しい梨有難う。表には果樹などもたくさん売られ、いるだけで楽しい。

    霞ヶ浦大橋を渡ってすぐのところにあります。道の駅的な施設です。新鮮な野菜や、カフェもあります。トイレ休憩にもぴったりです。霞ヶ浦もすぐそばです。

    A large farmers market boasting some 500 registered farmers located in Ibaraki, a prefecture with an abundance of agriculture. The market is located a 20-minute drive south along Prefectural Route 51 from the Mito-Oarai interchange on the Higashi-Mito Road. The market sells a variety of safe, healthy agricultural products from farms in Ibaraki Prefecture. Ibaraki grows the greatest quantity of melons in Japan, and, when in season, visitors to the market will find varieties such as Andes Melons and Quincy Melons sold at low prices. Accordingly, during this time, the market bustles with visitors come to buy tasty melons. The market is also conveniently located near Hokota Beach on the Otake Coast as well as Kashimanada Seaside Park.

    A farmers market situated along National Route 245 on the north side of Hitachi Seaside Park. The market sells fresh produce harvested in the prefecture as well as local specialty products. In particular, the market carries one of the largest selections of dried sweet potatoes, a local specialty product, in the prefecture; in January, the peak season for dried sweet potatoes, the market is supplied by 150 dried sweet potato producers. Accordingly known as a mecca for dried sweet potato lovers, a not insignificant number of customers from across the prefecture and beyond make their way here seeking sweet potatoes. Other specialty products the market sells include top class, be-stemmed Vineberry strawberries and Odama tomatoes, as well as foods like dried sweet potato curry and He-no-Kappa dried sweet potato shochu liquor. The market carries an abundant selection of the tastes of Ibaraki.

The center is located at the crossroad at the entrance to the Unomisaki Kokumin Shukusha government-run hotel in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Facilities include a vegetable corner with an abundance of unusual and rare varieties like akanegi onions and korinky squash, a gardening corner carrying primarily fresh flowers and seedlings from local farms, and a food and liquor corner carrying items such as sashimi kon'nyaku devil's tongue jelly made with mountain spring water. The center also sells local Hitachimai brand Koshihikari rice and other fresh foods as well as folk handicrafts like charcoal and ceramics.

    地元の農産物や特産品を販売している直売所です。 外観は地味ですが、意外に多くの種類の野菜などが並んでいて 安く買えます。 お勧めは土日限定の十割蕎麦。店内の簡素なカウンター席に座って 皆さん美味しそうに食べています。 リーズナブルで美味しい、知っている人は知っている、そんなお店です。

    小さな販売スペースにぎっしりと野菜が並べられていました。通年でとれるチンゲン菜、ネギ、ほうれん草のほか、晩秋のサツマイモや干し芋、みかんなどがありました。漬物や鯉のうま煮などの加工品もありました。レンコンを目当てに行きましたが、午後だったためか小さいものしか残っていませんでした。

    殆どが地元で取れた野菜を販売しているお店、一部他地域のものがあって考えさせられる。そこまでして置かなくて良いのではないか、と。まぁでも新鮮野菜なのは間違えないし、近くにいたら通うと思う。

    この近辺には道の駅が少なく、農産物直売所は独立してやってるところがチラホラ、ここもその一つ。こぢんまりしたスペースに地元野菜などがぎっしりと売られている。今冬は大根やネギが豊作のようで、とても安い。その他野菜も気持ちいい安さ新鮮さ。日常使いに良いお店。
