  • Bandai-Azuma Skyline Drive

    This is a sightseeing road in Fukushima City. It’s a 28.7 kilometer line connecting Takayu Onsen to Tsuchiyu Pass. It was once a toll road but is now free to use. Taking the route through to Azuma Mountain Range to an elevation of 1,350 meters offers a beautiful view of Mt. Azuma-kofuji and more. Every season has its attraction, such as the lovely foliage in fall, but the road is closed in winter.

    A sightseeing road passing through Inawashiro Town and Kitashiobara Village in Yama County, Fukushima Prefecture. The road connects Aizu with the Bandai Highland, an area dotted with lakes and marshes large and small. Drivers can enjoy the seasonal scenery of locations such as Mt. Bandai, the Goshiki-numa wetlands, and the Oguninuma wetlands. The Sankodai Observatory along the road also offers a sweeping view of Lake Inawashiro.

    A sightseeing road which passes through Inawashiro Town and Kitashiobara Village in Yama County, Fukushima Prefecture. There is also a walking path along the road and toilets, and visitors can trek the road in addition to driving it. Due to its beautiful scenery, many camera lovers travel here from around the country to take pictures.
