The largest attraction is the 30 meter high grotto, the Takine Palace, filled with limestone formations like the Crystal Curtain, grotto Coral, and more.

Cost is 1200Yen per adult - average size limestone cave but I have been to better ones in Japan and other countries. Ryusendo and Utsonomiya are way bigger and better. Considering the distance...

Go to Irimizu Cave to try authentic spelunking. At a total of 900 meters this cave offers three spelunking courses, including a simple one with your casual clothes as well as an orthodox one requiring full lighting equipment. The long tunnels that stretch for tens of meters and large caves are must see sights. This cave has also been designated as an Important Natural Monument of Japan.
