    "Shogi Village Tendo Tower, a tourist facility in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture, has a demonstration and sales area for shogi pieces, a restaurant, and a shopping floor. Visitors can enjoy the prefecture's popular ""chilled ramen noodles"" year-round at the food corner, and purchase shogi pieces with craftsmanship, local beer, and other items. Visitors can also make reservations for hands-on classes such as soba noodle making, writing pieces, and safflower dyeing. Visitors can also visit the Basho Garden, a Japanese garden lined with haiku monuments by Basho, and a branch shrine of the Dewa Sanzan Shrine."

    レストランとして登録されている施設ですが、おみやげ屋さんとしても大規模です。施設内にちょっとした神社もあります。また、入り口では亀が飼われていて、縁日サイズの頃からこのお店でかわいがっている亀だそうです。
