    The Uesugi Hakushakutei (Uesugi Earl’s House), which was built as the residence for the 14th Earl Mochinori of the Uesugi clan on the site of Ninomaru in the former Yonezawa Castle in 1896, was burnt to the ground in the Great Fire of Yonezawa, but the building and the gardens, landscaped by Tokyo Hamarikyu, were completed in 1925. Following this it became the Uesugi Memorial Hall where local cuisine was served and exhibitions were held. It is the only place in Yonezawa where guests can enjoy ‘katemono’, or food items, created by Lord Yozan Uesugi and said to be the origin of Yonezawa’s local cuisine.

    2018年10月頃新装開店した米沢店。回転ずしではなくなり、オーダー制になりました。無駄がなくなり正解だと思われます。何より改装後はネタが新鮮になった！一貫50円の皿からあり、ちょっとだけ食べたい人も、しっかり食べたい人もファーストフードのように気軽に立ち寄れるお店になりました。

    仙台から新潟方面に向かう際によりました。 日曜日夜の19:30にEPARKの予約で行きましたが、結果的には19:45分くらいに。 ただ、食べ終わって出るときにはもう待ちあいに人はいませんでした。 この時間帯だと売り切れのネタが10品以上出てしまっていました。 味・サービスは安定のくら寿司でした。
