You may have trouble deciding which local dish to try first. Every Sunday features a Hanakasa Odori performance as well. As for the local sake, 49 brands of Yamagata sake are available—great for the connoisseur. Four minutes on foot from JR Yamagata Station.

    At this tastefully decorated restaurant, you can eat cuisine using the best quality carp carefully selected by experts and grown in the clear mountain waters of the castle town, Yonezawa. The restaurant is a traditional Japanese structure, opulent and calm, created by purchasing a 200-year-old merchant hotel in Nakatsugawa and decorating it with old wood. Located inside the Uesugijoshien, one can enjoy Yonezawagyu beef at a reasonable price. In addition to the favorite Yonezawa beef dishes, steak, sukiyaki, and shabu, one can also enjoy local cuisine made with fresh seasonal produce.     鰻重の 松 をいただきました。まず画像の通り焼きが足りないし割れてるし味も美味しくなかったです。同じ市内の○六さんはとても美味しかったです。小骨もチラホラありましたし専門店で食べる美味しい鰻には到底思えませんでした。100円プラスで肝吸も頂きましたが、お吸い物の素に麺つゆを香り付けに入れたような単調なお味でした。期待しすぎたのかなぁ。

    映画祭参加後の22時前に利用しました。 日本酒の種類がすごいのと、割とお安めで、のん兵衛には助かります。 隣のキャッスルホテルに宿泊していたので、そのままふらふらと帰ることができたのもポイント高めです。 また山形に来るときには伺います！
