    This sushi bar was founded in 1955 on the current site near Hie Shrine in Hiyoshi-cho, Sakata City. One can enjoy a bottle of microbrew jizake along with seasonal fresh nigiri-sushi or a la carte items. With the omakase chef selection course, 12-13 different items are prepared not only with soy sauce, but salt, citrus pepper, or grilled, as most tasteful at the discretion of the chef.

    One of the best Sushi restaurants in Japan , I have been to Today was my second time , last time was a year ago and was very much looking forward to go there again

    商工会発行のお得な雑誌を手に廻らない寿司屋に行って来ました。カウンターには小あがり奥に座敷があり、昔懐かしいお店です。上品な皿に並んだツヤのあるすしはひさしぶりの対面です。小ぶりなにぎりはいくらでも食べれそう、また機会があれば行きたい店です。

    回転寿司では味わえない、本物の味がここにはあります。若いころ、銀座で修業した店主の腕前はすばらしい。ネタの目利き、魚の処理、握りの良さ、これぞ職人！って感じです。 お寿司が大好きで、日本全国いろんなところでお寿司を食べてきましたが、なんと地元で一押しの店に出会えるとは・・・。美味しい魚が近くにあっても職人さんの腕がないとって思えるお店です。カウンターに座って食べる本物の味をぜひ！

    8月のお盆の時期、蔵王山に登山後訪問 ランチはやっておらず通常メニューのみ 全く期待せず並ちらしを注文したところ、写真のクオリティ！鮪はぶ厚くもっちりとし、生海老はキトキトで口内に突き刺さるなど、刺し身の鮮度と目利き半端ない こんな寿司屋が近くにあったら嬉しいなぁ〜

Although often overlooked, Yamagata prefecture by no means lacks appeal: the Yamadera temple trail through the mountains, deliciously tender Yonezawa wagyu, and over 100 steaming hot springs, most notably Zao Onsen, await visitors. When winter comes, the snowcapped peaks become dotted with skiers by day and onsen-goers by night, while summer brings the celebration of juicy Yamagata cherries.
