Akita Yamamoto-gun

A mineral water plant along Prefectural Route 317 in Fujikoto-wakesaku, Fujisato Town, Yamamoto County. They produce Shirakamisansui Water by bottling Shirakami water. With advance reservation you can take a free tour of the bottling process.

白神山水の館はミネラルウォーター「白神山水」を製造している工場です。長い時間をかけて育まれた白神の水を外気に触れさせることなく、加熱処理を一切せずにボトリングした「白神山水」は口あたりが爽やかな超軟水です。ボトリング工程見学は、事前予約が必要です。

The facility was established in 1962 as one of the research facilities attached to the Institute of Industrial Science of the University of Tokyo (currently the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science of JAXA), and can be visited by appointment. The facility is also used for takeoff and landing tests of reusable rockets.
