    This is a bear-only zoo in Aza-Jinba, Aniutto, Kitaakita City. You can get up close to the brown bears and Asian black bears raised in the park. In addition to feeding and other activities, they have baby bear petting events. Tours are reservation-only from December to March.

    2020年の頭に生まれた2匹のこぐま、ひかりとあかりに会いたくて行きました。外遊びの時間が決まっているので、まずはその時間をチェックするのをお勧めします。もー、可愛すぎます。大きなクマたちには、餌を買って投げてあげましょう。ダイレクトキャッチしてくれるクマもいて最高に可愛いです。 ツキノワグマより大きいヒグマもたくさんいますよ！

    A pleasure boat cruise that runs from June 1st to October 31st. Taihei Lake, created by the completion of Moriyoshi Dam, is an artificial lake with a circumference of 30 kilometers, an area of 195 hectares, and a depth of 58 meters. While in season between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. you can take one hour guided trips to the hidden Komata Gorge. You can enjoy the spectacular scenery especially as the leaves change in the autumn.

    "This tourist railway was born as a civic entity in order to take over the Japan National Railways Yashima Line in 1985. Extending from Yashima Station to Ugo-Honjo Station in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, the railway line is 23 kilometers long. Trains can be chartered or and there's also a ""cycle train"" service which you can bring your bicycle onto. (Be aware that ""cycle trains"" operate in fixed areas and at fixed times.) The railway operates an abundant variety of trains; customers rave in particular about the children's space on the Nakayoshi Koyoshi train."

    The Lake Tazawa Excursion Ship takes visitors on a ride over Japan’s deepest lake to see its Gozaishi stone, the Tatsuko Statue, and more sights. The 25 minute cruise departs from Katajiri and runs April 26–November 5. The legend of Princess Tatsuko is played onboard during the trip to add to the Lake Tazawa’s mythical atmosphere. It’s about 11 minutes’ drive from JR Tazawako Station.
