    A large shopping mall attached to Morisekinoshita Station on the Sendai Airport Access Line. The three-story building houses over 200 specialty stores and amusement facilities. With direct covered access from the second floor to the Morisekinoshita Station the mall is known for enjoyable stress-free shopping. With a post office, nursery school, dentist clinic and child rearing support facilities the mall is a place for a ride range of local residents to gather, interact, and have an enjoyable time.

    This store is located about five minutes by car from Ogawara Station on the Tohoku Main Line. They sell premium Waton Mochibuta pork raised on their own farm, ham, and sausages, as well as local Sennan agricultural produce and crafts. Waton Mochibuta pork is tender and lightly fatty, without any of pork's strong odor, with a flavor that Japanese people love. It was awarded the grand prize at the 33rd Japan Agricultural Awards in 2004 for thorough sanitation management and their effort surrounding it. Their dining area serves such Waton Mochibuta dishes as cutlets of pork loin or fillets.

    Visitors to this facility can learn about Yajirokokeshi, a doll which features a large head drawn like wearing a beret, and a vividly colored, striped torso. The museum has an exhibition about the history of kokeshi dolls with old, reminiscent photographs on the first floor, and a painting experience class and exhibits that are for sale on the second floor. Yajiroarea, which is said to be one of the birthplaces of kokeshi dolls, is a small village of Kijishi (woodturner) masters located in a space between valleys. From fall to winter, trees on the mountain were felled to make kokeshi dolls, which, as souvenirs sold to visitors to the hot springs, became well-known alongside the history of the area's hot springs. In addition to workshop tours and painting experience classes, kokeshi dolls that are no longer needed, or can no longer be appreciated, are memorialized here.

    A shop near the bus waiting area at the JR Tohoku Main Line Shiroishi Station Rotary. This cozy shop sells Shiroishi Castle related goods. The classic town-house styled shop has a number of original goods for Katakura Kojuro who ruled from the castle making this a popular shop for Kojuro fans. With the desire of spreading different people's creations further and wider they have a Fan Made Goods Corner for goods that spring from a customer's ideas. They also have local Shiroishi specialty products and sight-seeing maps making this an easy location for a Shiroishi Tourism base site and information station.

    JR白石駅ロータリー左手にあるこじんまりしたショップ。のぼりがあるので結構目立ちます。白石と言えば片倉小十郎なので、関連グッズを販売しているショップです。大名ではなく家臣でありながら、ここまで有名で、なおかつショップまであるということからも片倉小十郎という人物が傑物であったことがうかがえます。

    This kokeshi doll workshop is located in Shinchi, Togattaonsen, Zao Town, Katta County. It exhibits and sells a variety of wooden toys including more than 1,000 kokeshi dolls representing 11 styles from across the Tohoku region. Visitors can also try painting a kokeshi doll (reservation required).

    A long-standing noodle making shop that makes and sells Michinoku Miyagi's specialty Shiroishi Umen noodles. You can purchase traditional Shiroishi Umen noodles at the shop attached to the head office and factory. A key point of Umen noodles is that due to the high-quality starch of the flour used no oil is applied to the noodles as opposed to standard Somen noodles which have oil on the surface of the dough. The temperature of humidity is carefully controlled so that the smooth surface of the noodles doesn't dry out which results in the unique slurpability of Shiroishi Umen noodles and makes them easy on the stomach. Other popular products are their AkamokuUmen noodles which mix in ground devil weed to the dough and their OyassaiUmen noodles which use powder from specially farmed vegetables to result in brightly colored noodles.

    The headquarters, factory, and shop for the famous traditional Sendai sweet, Sanshoku Monaka, which resembles three spread fans each containing a different sweet bean paste. In the shop facing out at National Route 4 they sell primarily their flagship Sanshoku Monaka along with a variety of other Japanese-style sweets. Sanshoku Monaka, with its catchphrase of Eating One is as Tasty as All Three, was originally sold as three separate products. It's said the modern product came from a customer who couldn't decide between the three and asked if they could have a Monaka packed with all three bean pastes. The red bean paste made with Hokkaido Tokachi red beans, white bean paste made with Hokkaido Tokachi large otebo beans, and either a sesame or matcha green tea bean paste makes for an exquisite harmony that makes a fantastic present.

    This is a tofu restaurant in Zao Town, Katta County, Miyagi Prefecture. The shop sells tofu made by using cold spring water from Reisendo Spring that worshippers to Zao historically would use to purify themselves, as well as nearby cold spring groundwater. As well as tofu and fried tofu, the soft ice cream using rich soy milk has an excellent reputation.

    豆乳ソフトクリームが甘すぎず、さっぱりとしていて美味しいです。324円税込みでまあまあな大きさがあります。

They make Zao cheese from high quality natural ingredients with advanced technology backed by tradition. In addition to cream cheese and aged cheeses like gouda and cheddar, they make a cheese drink with pasteurized milk and cheese whey. Their Cheese Cabin sells popular souvenirs like homemade ice cream and yogurt.

    道路端の地元の野菜を扱う八百屋さんです。地元の果物や、野菜、そして秋だったのでキノコがたくさん売っていました。見たこともないキノコが多く、調理法なども丁寧に教えてくれました。
