- About 10 minutes from Hanamaki Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway, this is a day use hot spring bathhouse next to Sobabo Kamiya. As there's plenty of hot spring water flowing freely from the source, they change the water in the baths that way every day after closing rather than circulating it. The water type is hypotonic, weakly alkaline, and high temperature. It's said to be effective for nerve pain, muscle soreness, chronic digestive diseases, sensitivity to cold, women’s diseases, chronic skin diseases, diabetes, etc. The hot spring bathhouse is popular with locals and tourists alike.

- "A hot spring bathhouse located a one-minute drive from the Towa Interchange on the Kamaishi Expressway in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. The gentle waters of the bathhouse' simple hot spring are said to treat nerve pain and aid in the recovery from fatigue. Facilities include an outdoor bath and large indoor bath constantly replenished from the source spring ""kakenagashi"" style, a carbonated bath, and an authentic Finnish style sauna. The bathhouse Hidakami restaurant serves dishes made with local ingredients and seafood from Sanriku. In the summer, the bathhouse opens up a beer garden. 和モダンツインで３人利用しました。ウェルカムドリンクとこんにゃく玉のサービスがあります。お風呂は肌がツルツルして気持ち良かったです。夕食は個室様でゆっくり安心して頂けました。どれも美味しいので食べ過ぎに注意‼ とても満足でした。

- The history of the Namari Onsen Fujisan Ryokan hot spring inn dates back to the discovery of a hot spring here and the building of a temporary bathhouse in 1443, and the building of a row house structure to serve as a public bathhouse in 1786. Here in the inn's bathhouse facilities, visitors can enjoy the waters of the Namari Onsen spring. The inn has been selected for appearance in a revised list of Japan's 100 most famous hot springs and a list of Japan's hot spring heritage sites. The inn operates five source springs and all of the tubs in its four baths are constantly replenished from a source spring kakenagashi style. The inn's famous Shirozaru no Yu natural rock bathtub is the deepest in Japan, with an average depth of 1.25 meters, deep enough to stand up in. The inn's bathing facilities are open to non-guests, as well. Exclusively on Sundays and holidays, visitors can dine in the inns restaurant, Akari; the restaurant can accommodate requests for a private dining room for special occasions.

Regarded as the top resort destination in Tohoku, some of the area’s many highlights include a spectacular rose garden and charming avenue of cherry trees. The Hanamaki Onsenkyo area encompasses the Hanamaki Minami Onsenkyo area, location of hot spring hotels such as Osawa Onsen and Namari Onsen which offer rooms with cooking facilities perfect for extended convalescent stays, and the Yusen Shidate hotel, renowned for the private outdoor baths attached to its rooms. 古い旅館ですが、館内は清潔でかなり懐かしい感じの旅館です。お風呂は泉質の違う２種類の内風呂があります。一つはかなり熱くてゆっくりできませんでしたが、もう一つの方はやや熱めですが貸し切り状態で利用できました。

ここは他の温泉宿やホテルと違って、宿泊者専用の時間を設定してないので、日帰り入浴しやすいところが良い。今回のGWでは、志戸平温泉と山の神温泉が日帰り入浴が出来ない時間だったので、ここに来ました。500円で内風呂1つと露天1つの何の変哲も無い風呂ですが、良く温まる湯質です。10時から20時30分が入浴時間だそうです。

御伽屋（おとぎや）さんは、 遠野の民話と歴史風物を研究されているご主人の話が楽しいお宿でした。 ガイドブックには無い、遠野の不思議な世界の情報を興味深く聞くことが出来ました。 ご主人の時間がある日には、宿泊者と夜の遠野を楽しむ「怪奇体験ツアー」を実施されているとのことです。 手作りの食事はとても美味しく、食堂に出没する黒猫たちも可愛いらしかったです。

気さくな女将さんが出迎えてくれる、アットホームな古民家民宿でした。食事は本当に美味しい。また食事をする部屋も一見の価値有りです。お風呂も気持ちよく頂きました。 築１３０年なので設備の古さは否めませんが、遠野らしい宿でした。

出張で利用しました、リニューアルして間もないのか部屋がきれいで畳が新しく、それだけでも快適でした。 トイレとお風呂が共同でしたが、ビジネスホテル並みの料金で旅館に泊まれたのでよかったです。共同浴場もそこそこのひろさと昭和の懐かしい感じがあり良かったです。 朝食は、民宿風でしたがご飯が御櫃で出てきて量もあるしおいしかったです。 オーナーさんの感じも良かったので、機会があればまた泊まりたいです。
