    This commercial facility opened in 2010 and is located three minutes on foot from JR Aomori Station. Inside the facilities is a collection of specialist shops, studios and restaurants that use local foodstuffs. Aside from sweets and food like gelato made from “Aomori Milk,” one can purchase souvenirs themed on tastes only available in Aomori. Inside the building there is also a cider studio with eight brewing tanks, with observation and tasting courses (paid) also available.

    A market established over 40 years ago famous for its nokke-don seafood rice bowl. Here you can buy meats, delicatessen, seafood, and other fresh, delicious ingredients you'll only find in a market in Aomori. The nokke-don is a rice bowl dish which allows customers to roam the market and freely add toppings from the various stalls here.

    This is a market in the first floor basement of the “AUGA” shopping facilities located one minute on foot from JR Aomori Station, and a spot where many locals gather as Aomori’s citizens’ kitchen. Fresh fish and processed seafood products, vegetables, fruits, side dishes and meats specialist shops are arranged in tight rows, as well as restaurants and cafeteria using local foodstuffs. Shipping as a souvenir is also possible. Open mornings from 5 a.m.

    This complex houses local produce shops and a display gallery along the Oshu Highway and the Tsuchiya Bypass in Tsuchiya-kagigake, Hiranai Town, Higashitsugaru County. Specializing in scallops, fresh seafood from Mutsu Bay, and a variety of sea products and farm produce are sold here. Adjoining the complex is a rest area with a shop selling scallop flavored soft ice cream and visitors can enjoy fresh grilled scallops on the spot at the Atsuatsuhotategaiyaki corner. On the second floor is an exhibition space displaying artifacts related to the scallop fishing industry.

    A history-leaden confectionary shop established in 1891. The shop is famous for its Konbu Yokan kelp jelly, the establishment's signature product since it first opened its doors. This exquisite confection has won the honorary president's award, the highest honor, in a national confection and tourism exposition. Any number of the shop's other products are also recommended, including the firm Neri Yokan and blackcurrant Cassis Yokan jellies, as well as the confections made with Tsugaru apples.

    和菓子と洋菓子を置いていました。どら焼きをお土産に買おうと思って行ったのですが、平日の午後だったのに売り切れでした。

    A Western confectionary located in 1 Chome Shinmachi, Aomori City. At Straus, you can eat popular Viennese sweets whenever you like, and the shop sells Viennese cakes and pies such as sachertorte and strudel. You can enjoy the shop’s delights on-site in the second floor café.

    食後のデザートにせっかく青森まで来たのだから美味しいアップルパイをという事で検索してこちらに。820円のケーキセットでアップルパイ（アップフェルシュトゥルーテル）も選べる。もうひとつのセットはモンブランをチョイス。 アップルパイは色味はかなり濃い感じで味も濃厚で美味い。コーヒーもきちんと美味い。モンブランもそこそこでした。 現在は16時までの営業のようです。 ご馳走さまでした。

    A Japanese confectionary shop which makes its sweets by hand the old fashioned way using delicious ingredients produced with care and attention in Aomori. The shop's confections make maximum use of the positive qualities of the prefecture's safe, delicious ingredients. The shop's Usubeni apple glace, made by stewing round slices of Aomori-grown Jonathan apples in sugar before drying them, is particularly famous.

    素敵な店構えの和菓子やに寄る。りんごを使ったどら焼きを購入。奥のテーブル席では抹茶とお菓子の500円セットがあり頂く。

    駅構内の土産物店でした。駅舎カウントダウンと同じく同店も閉店が近付いているようでした。新青森駅を利用するなら別ですが、青森駅で土産物を調達するには便利で、コンビニ同様に利用出来ました。
