Established in 2004 and relocated in 2013, this bakery is ever-popular. You can enjoy dining in a shop with a refined exterior inspired by the color white and a spotlessly clean interior that would rival any jeweler. The sweets, refined through years of practice, are as cute as anything, and the cakes are known to delight both the eyes and the mouth.

This Western-style confectioner is located beside Kita-oh-dori Avenue along the east side of Hirosaki Castle. The showcase on the first floor exudes a bright feeling with white as a motif. In contrast, the second floor has an eat-in space, featuring a chic, grown-up atmosphere colored in black. Centuries-old stories of samurai at Kakunodate and the remains of millennia-old archaeological sites including the likes of Isedotai invite history buffs to delve into Aomori’s fascinating history. As the most northern prefecture on the Japanese mainland, Aomori enjoys a cooler climate, which makes it a welcome escape from the southern cities for combining castles, art galleries, and summer festivals with the great outdoors.
