    This is a Western-style hand-made, additive-free cake shop in Aomori City. The second floor is a coffee shop and visitors can sample coffee and sweets including apple pie which is available on the weekends and holidays only.

    一階は洋菓子を売っています。2階が食事するところになっています。木のインテリアが懐かしい感じがしました。青森なのでりんごパイと紅茶にしました。スパゲティなど、食事もできます。地元のお客さんが多い印象でした。

    Chez Ange serves authentic French cuisine using carefully selected ingredients such as Japanese Wagyu beef, seafood from the prefecture, and highland vegetables from the south of Hakkoda. There are six different courses available for lunch. Advanced booking at least one day prior is required for dinner which consists of a course meal. There is also a cafe, Patisserie Ange, which serves pasta and sweets.

    有名店なのか、かなり地元じゃない旅行者が利用していた。アジア系の観光客もいた。なので、少し騒がしかったが、料理の味は大変満足。

    東京でも食べられるようなものが出る高級店に入るより弘前でしか食せないものが多く出会えます。この大衆店の郷土料理はやさしくて絶品でした。サザエ一つにも特別な産地のものが出てきました。お酒は本醸造か純米ですがお安くておいしい。静かなお店なので大声はやめてくださいね。

    A ramen shop located close to Aomori Station. The shop serves soy sauce soup ramen characteristic of Tsugaru made with dried fish from Tairadate, all at a reasonable price. Choose your ramen from four different sizes from small to extra-large. Since the shop is open from eight in the morning it’s a great place to stop by after a walk around the market.

    取引先の方と来店しました。特大を注文。煮干しスープと言われていますが臭みもなくあっさりしていて美味しかったです。駐車場は店舗前に3台駐車できます。

The interior is decorated with wood inherited from old houses to create a calm space. It is around 15 minutes on foot from JR Aomori Station.

    フリー切符の冊子に掲載していたので昼食をいただきました。大きな料理屋さんで何でも料理があるので味はどうかな?と思いましたが「割り子そば」をいただきましたがお蕎麦も天ぷらも美味しかったです。コロナ対策もしっかりしていて店員さんの配慮でゆたっりと食事ができました。

    The Aomori Gyosai Center in Furukawa Market is a famous seafood market for “Nokkedon.” Visitors can purchase tickets at the information desk, choose ingredients from about 30 shops in the hall, and have them placed on a bowl of rice. Besides sashimi, there is also miso soup, pickles, prepared dishes and meat as well. It is fun to walk freely around the market choosing the ingredients to top you own bowl of rice. It is approximately a five minute walk from JR Aomori station.

    “Kurayoshi,” a restaurant in a sake brewery storehouse dating from the Edo period, is famous for its dishes known as “the world’s best tempura noodles,” “the world’s best superior tempura noodles” and “duck hot pot” as well as the specialty of Kuroishi, “Tsuyu yakisoba”. Although the volume and price of “the world’s best tempura noodles” and “the world’s best superior tempura noodles” is surprising it is easy to understand their popularity. There is also an extensive menu offering other single items and Japanese-based meals. It is a 10 minute walk from Kuroishi Station on the Konan Railway Konan Line.

    This gelato is hand-made each day from the rich milk of the Jersey cows reared freely and milked each morning on the shop’s farm. Seasonal fruit and vegetable flavors are particularly popular. The shop only uses its own home-grown fresh vegetables and local produce and offers limited availability and seasonal menus. Limited availability items may become unavailable once they have sold out so if you find a flavor you like, you had better go for it! It is around 17 minutes by car from Kamikitacho Station on the Aoimori Railway.
