    A rose garden in a spacious urban park in Iwamizawa City. Some 630 varieties of European and Japanese roses and 9,000 individual plants are cultivated on the 40 thousand hectare grounds. Due to the abundant variety and differing blooming periods, visitors can enjoy rose blossoms from the beginning of spring around March to early autumn around October. A rose festival is held here every June along with a variety of events. In the garden's restaurant, you can eat authentic Napoli pizza baked in a real stone oven.

    岩見沢駅近くの岩見沢ターミナルからバスで15分ほど。ただしバスの本数は少ない。 丘陵地に設けられた広大な公園で、遊園地(北海道グリーンランド)、キャンプ場、科学館などがあり、冬場にはスキー場も開設されるようである。園内にあるバラ園を見学するために訪れたが、残念ながら8月はバラ開花のすき間の時期だったのでわずかな花しか見ることができなかった。

    This flower wonderland is in Hokuryu Town, in Uryu County, Hokkaido. The 23-hectare area boasts of over 1,500,000 sunflowers, and when they are in full bloom sightseers flock to take in the scenery. The flowers bloom from late July to late August, and during that time they host the Sunflower Festival. They also have sightseeing cars taking visitors on a full circuit of the park to take it all in.

    The riverside plaza behind the Kobayashi Sake Brewery, located along the Yubari River just a 5-minute drive from JR Kuriyama Station, is a place where visitors can enjoy nature and flowers. It is a place of recreation and relaxation where families enjoy eating lunch, taking a walk, or reading on weekends.

    空知地方を流れる夕張川の河川敷にはたくさんの公園があります。夕張川河畔広場は栗山町にある公園です。広大な敷地でゆっくり散歩したり川のせせらぎを聞きながらくつろぐこともできます。駐車場も完備されているため自動車で来ることもできます。
