It has used charcoal sourced locally from Kushiro for many years and grills based on the features of the fish, demonstrating its skill as a veteran shop. It offers carefully selected local fish and sake, as well as seasonal items like salmon and saury. Besides roasted dishes, they serve sashimi, rice bowls, and more. Business hours are until 23:00 in winter and 24:00 other seasons. They are closed Sundays, except for the Golden Week holiday and from August to mid-October when they are open every day.

    This Robatayaki Japanese barbecue shop serving fresh, locally caught fish and crabs is on the first floor of the Taiyo Building in Abashiri City, Hokkaido. It has a family feel adorned with boats used for harvesting sea urchins and large fishing flags. Enjoy a leisurely meal with their Japanese style cushioned seating or horigotatsu sunken seating. Their baked crab and boiled crab both feature the flavor of crab at its finest. Flame-broiled dishes like hokke mackerel and kichiji rockfish are also satisfying.

    This robatayaki Japanese barbecue shop is five minutes on foot from JR Hakodate Station. It's in the Daimon Yokocho Food Stall Village in Hakodate City, Hokkaido, and run by Minamikayabe's head fishing collective. Most of the locally sourced ingredients they use are only available at group member shops, and there are five-star green paper lanterns hanging outside the store. One recommendation is their local squid specialty called ikejime-maikasashi that's only available from June to December. There are also many other seasonal dishes such as live whelk from March to September.
