This golf course is in Tomakomai City, Hokkaido. This course is an all-bentgrass hill and woods course, a rarity in Japan. This difficult 18-hole course, embraced by Hokkaido's glorious natural scenery, is famous as a test of skill. The 18th hole also has a hoary 200 year old sacred Katsura tree, the source of the golf course's name.

台風の2日後なラウンド。爽やかでゴルフ日和です。フェアウェイも広くコースメンテナンスも素晴らしくキャディーさんも非常に良かったです。御神木のあるコースでお参りしながら難しいグリーンを攻略するのが楽しいゴルフ場⛳️でした。

Hokkaido Kitahiroshimashi Wattsu 77

This golf course in Kitahiroshima city was opened in 1958. The Wattsu Course, offering a view of the grand scenery of Kitahiroshima, is famous as the first Hokkaido course designed by Japanese course planner Seiichi Inoue. It's used as a tournament course for the ANA Open Golf Tournament and other events.

オーソドックスだが難しいコースとその手入れ、歴史、格式とも北海道随一のゴルフ場。トーナメント後のラフの深さでボール見失うこともしばしば。しかし、輪厚ルールというのがあり探しても見つからないときはあると思われる場所から代打できる。値段は高いがプレイする価値あり。レストランの輪厚ラーメンも美味い。

白樺の森の中に開かれたコース。大変美しいコースでした。ニドムを回り、翌日はザノースに行きました。ノースは広々としていてこれも北海道らしい良いコースですが、ニドムの方が美しいです。エゾ鹿やキツネの姿も見られて楽しめました。ただちょっと値段が高いのが難点といえば難点。

セルフで回りました。カートにタブレットが付いていて、コース案内（グリーンまでの距離）、スコア入力ができて便利です。クラブハウスの食事はあまり美味しいとはいえません。

フェアウェイカート乗り入れOKを期待してプリンスホテルのコースに行きましたが快晴だったにも関わらず「本日乗り入れ×」の表示。おまけにフェアウェイがベアグランド状態多くてガッカリしました。駒ヶ岳を見ながら雄大なコースなのに残念でした。

食事が出来てのんびりできるので選択しました。温泉らしからぬ建物で、外の堀には鯉と鴨がおり、餌の自動販売機もありました。パークゴルフのコースもあるので、一汗流しての入浴も良いでしょう。今回は一度入浴し、食事をして帰りました。他の入浴施設でも良かったかな。
