This park is located approximately a 10-minute drive from Noboribetsu Higashi Interchange. It is a leisure facility located on the Satsunai Plateau, surrounded by nature, and its four-wheel buggy rides - and snow mobiles in the winter - make it an extremely attractive place to visit. There is also a horseback riding area adjacent to the park, so visitors can enjoy both activities together. The courses range from beginner courses accompanied by an instructor, to advanced challenge courses. It is possible to either bring your own vehicle or to rent a car for half a day or a full day, but advance reservations are required.

A diving shop by lush Lake Shikotsu which can set you up for kayaking or snorkeling. The shop is located in the Lake Shikotsu hot spring district. The shop's most popular kayak model has a clear bottom, letting you see down through the waters of the lack. Lake Shikotsu has very clear waters and it's fun watching the fish and aquatic plants living in its depths. During winter when the lake freezes over, the shop offers ice fan diving. While out on the lake, you can also enjoy the sight of frost-covered trees up in the mountains as well as Hokkaido sika deer, Ezo red foxes, and other wild animals.

Here, Japan's first segway guided tours are held in the Tokachi Millennium Forest looking over the Tokachi Plains. The segway is a vehicle from the not-so-distant future that moves just by leaning forward or backward. It runs on batteries, and is gentle on the environment, so you can take your time observing the 400-hectare swath of nature while riding a segway. There are two courses: a novice course in the field, and an intermediate course in the forest. You can enjoy the scenery which changes with the seasons, focusing on scenery, environment, and forestry. Must be 16 or older. Reservations required.

Fishing for wakasagi pond smelt is popular and catching them is easy with the full set of tackle they provide. Guests can then enjoy tempura of their catch. From May to November they operate as Fishing Land Akan. They only close in bad weather.
