    In this area there are many financial institutions. This building, almost 100 years old, used to be Okayama branch of the Bank of Japan. Its classic architecture is quite imposing.

    A concert hall in the Acros Fukuoka building. It features an authentic shoebox style music hall with a two-second reverb time even when completely occupied and is used for musical concerts including everything from world class full orchestras to chamber music, amateur recitals, and contests as well as academic conferences and lectures. It's easily accessible being just a five-minute walk from Tenjin Station on the subway Airport Line (Exit 16 is a direct link to the building) or a seven-minute walk from Exit 5 of the Tenjin Minami Station on the subway Nanakuma Line.

    This multipurpose hall is a five-minute walk from Kintetsu Yao Station. The building was opened in 1988 and arose from the region's burgeoning art scene. The building has two floors below ground and five above. Its prism motif has given it the nickname Prism Hall. The hall has facilities including a 1,440 seat grand hall, a smaller auditorium with 390 seats, a reception hall, and conference rooms. It is the site of many concerts, plays, and lectures. It is also the home of the Yao Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and was chosen as one of the top 100 music halls by SEAS, the Sound Engineers and Artists Society of Japan.

    Just a 10-minute walk from the Minami-Kusatsu Station, this cultural hall just opened in 2015 after being moved from the Shiga Prefectural Residents’ Sozo Hall, to Kusatsu City. Created to provide a place for the Kusatsu citizens’ cultural arts to be promoted, the hall houses one of the few stages with special functions, and an exhibit hall The hall, seating 737, is used for performances of music concerts, ballet, theater, and traditional Japanese art forms. You can get support from professionals for acoustic and sound work. The facility also has exhibit rooms, practice rooms, and a brightly lit glassed in lounge. There are also concerts and events hosted for children and parents also.

    A 10 minute walk from Asakusa Station. The Asakusa France-za Engeijo Toyokan is a performing arts theater in Asakusa-koen Rokku. Known simply as the Toyokan, the theater is famous as the place where comedian, actor, and director Beat Takeshi got his start. Today, the theater primarily holds variety shows of manzai and mandan comedy, while its sister theater in the same building, the Asakusa Engei Hall, is used mainly for traditional rakugo comedic storytelling; together, they carry on a history of comedy culture in the Asakusa area. Performances are conducted 365 days a year, ensuring you can enjoy a performance any day the mood strikes you. An afternoon performance is held daily from 12:00 p.m.; consisting of 15 to 20 groups of performers and comedians, a new group is sure to come on before you ever get bored with the current one.

    This concert venue is located a three-minute walk from Kinugasa Station on the JR Yokosuka Line . It has a 516-seat hall and exhibition gallery as well as a lounge and multipurpose room.
