It is recommended for those who want to try dumplings from various restaurants. There is a large selection of many gyoza from each restaurant sold frozen in the souvenir section to be enjoyed at home. Visitors can experience making gyoza with a reservation. It is only an eight minute walk from Tobu Utsunomiya Station on the Tobu Utsunomiya Line.

初めて宇都宮餃子を食べるので、お店選びに迷いました。好きな作家さんが『来らっせ』で食べていたのを思い出し、最初はここでと来てみました。常設店舗コーナーがお勧めのようでそちらに入店。「宇都宮みんみん」がお気に入り。友人は「さつき」と１皿６個ずつなのでシェアしながらいろいろなお店の味を楽しめるのが良いですね。お気に入りのお店の冷凍餃子をお土産で買えます。

日曜日13時で待ち時間はなかったですが、入り口にEPARKがありました。たくさん空いている席があったのにわたしたちはカウンター、次の2人組は6人席のテーブルでもやっとしました。店の感染対策はしてありました。

This gyoza pot sticker restaurant has been in business for over 50 years. A 10-minute walk from Tobu-Utsunomiya Station, the restaurant can be identified by its red sign and serves gyoza which are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The vegetables used to make its gyoza fillings are all domestically grown. The gyoza skin's, on the thick side and fried in sesame oil, have a distinctive crunch. The restaurant's boiled gyoza, which can be enjoyed with soy sauce, vinegar, or rayu chili oil as you prefer, have a chewy texture the establishment takes great pride in. The restaurant's fried gyoza, cooked in an original, sesame-based oil blend, have a distinctive texture; try eating them like an Utsunomiya native with just some rock salt.

The store is popular with a wide range of customers, including local university students, businessmen and families. The famous White Gyoza, with its garlic flavored filling wrapped in a thick layer of dough, is a soul food of Kanazawa. And, with the crisp crust and juicy meat filling, the dumplings pack a punch of flavor that goes extremely well with white rice.

Ive been coming here for over 30 years. Still great gyoza! One of my favorite comfort foods when Im in Hokuriku.

A gyoza dumpling store in Nishikicho, Iizaka-machi, Fukushima City. They serve the local Fukushima specialty, Enban Gyoza, dumplings served arrayed in a circular pattern. The dumpling filling mixes a cabbage base with Yonezawa Sangen Pork and the homemade wrappings are just a mixture of flour and water that are wrapped as you order before being arranged in the circle and fried.
