    This fresh fish retailer is set up in the Kuromon Market, which has continued to operate since the end of the Edo period (1603-1868). The retailer started as Sanpei Fishery Co., Ltd., which handled salted salmon and fish eggs at the Osaka Central Wholesale Market. The inside of the store is lined with fresh seafood just purchased from the Osaka Central Wholesale Market. In addition to large packs for dealers, they also offer many processed items such as sushi and seafood rice bowls that can be easily purchased by tourists. With a dining area in one corner of the shop, you can enjoy a bento lunch box bought there right away.

It’s a popular restaurant where you can enjoy cuisine using crab sourced directly from the fishing grounds. It features a diverse menu, which includes the signature boiled king crab and ranges from hotpots such as Kanisuki which allows you to try red king crab and snow crab at the same time and Crab Kaiseki, which allows you to fully enjoy crab. There are various spaces from private rooms that can be used by even one or two people to a hall that can be used by up to 60.

    The Fish is a market place for Minamiboso area. It is a pleasurable facility housing a cafe, sourvenir shops, and a restaurant overlooking the ocean from which you can dine on the fresh catch of the very same waters. The Baumkuchen confectionery Minamitei, awarded the highest Monde Selection Grand Gold Quality Award for two years running, is located here. You can watch the chefs making the confections through a glass window.

    A venerable eel restaurant founded at the end of the Taisho period located in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. The warm and retro looking exterior looks the same as when the restaurant was established and stands out all the more amongst the throngs of buildings in Shinkyogoku. The key to the shop’s flavor is a secret sauce passed down for one hundred years which brings out the savory deliciousness of plump eels from Lake Hamana. Particularly popular are the standard eel rice bowl and the restaurant’s famous “kinshi-don”—eel rice bowl topped with an egg fried Kyoto style. One of the restaurant’s customs is the “Kaneyo Yose” held each month, an event which includes live entertainment with a meal.

    The grilled eel was absolutely fantastic. Tastes great! The food presentation was top notch. Quality service, nice food and traditional decoration, it is worth to visit!

The horse mackerel are bred in the nutrient rich and fast flowing tides fed by the spring waters of Mt. Fuji, the Kuroshiro current and Kano River, and they produce a fish with a firm, rich flavor. In the restaurant run by local women, you can enjoy various kinds of mackerel cuisine such as fried live mackerel set meals and live mackerel rice bowls, and you can also buy processed items such as homemade dried fish at the shop. It’s a very popular place where, using a numbered ticket system, customers often have to wait for up to an hour or more to be served on national holidays.

    A long-standing anagomeshi (grilled conger eel over rice) restaurant established in 1901 located a two minute walk from Miyajimaguchi Station. The restaurant’s famed anagomeshi features fresh-grilled conger eel (anago) piled tightly packed on top of a bed of rice cooked with a broth made from conger eel bones. This long-selling favorite was originally created to offer as a bento box lunch sold in front of the nearby train station when the restaurant was founded. The restaurant is also famous for the lines of customers waiting to eat inside that constantly form out its door. Customers eating in can enjoy flavors and dishes differing from those offered for bento box lunches, such as piping hot, fresh-made anagomeshi and shirayaki conger eel grilled without seasoning. Bento box lunches can be reserved. No reservations are accepted for the restaurants sit-down space.

    3500円の「ブリ丼」をいただきました。氷見の寒ブリを期待していたのですが、出てきたブリの身は、スーパーで売っている安いブリのクオリティーでした。金額にすれば750円くらいが妥当でしょう。この店は、絶対にオススメできません。氷見市にとっても、面汚しのお店だと思います。

    This is a fresh seafood restaurant in Tomakomai, Hokkaido. Since it's so close to Tomakomai port, it's very popular for the Marutoma Bowl made with fresh seasonal fish, and Hokki Curry, made with Hokki clams of which Tomakomai has the largest catch. Not only are the meals filling and cheap, the fact that it's so popular with locals has made it a major tourist spot.
