It's a popular menu option where you can try ten types of nigiri sushi including tuna, flounder, domestic skipjack, and goby for just 100 yen apiece. The shop is popular with locals of course but because of its ease of access for those heading to Asahiyama Zoo it's popular with tourists as well. The shop is also known for its selection of local sake, grilled and fried foods, and skewers.

Their menu also includes fried foods including deep-fried eggplant and fried oysters, noodle dishes including ramen and udon, and desserts including fresh mango sherbet and pineapple. The take out menu offers sushi sets for one person or more.

This chain has locations all over Hokkaido, including in Sapporo, Chitose, and Asahikawa. It boasts of greater freshness and volume than most other conveyor-belt sushi shops, and is popular for offering super fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Their morimori series, where the toppings completely overflow the rice and seaweed of the Gunkan-maki, is a delight for the eyes as well as the palate. All of their sushi is similarly topped, with the seafood outweighing the rice by at least 50%. It's a great place for the whole family to enjoy a fun sushi meal.

The weekday-only one-coin (500 yen) lunch menu offers a satisfying ten varieties of fresh fish, including tuna, fatty sardines, salmon and sweet shrimp, with miso soup. In addition to the classic nigiri-zushi and gunkan-maki styles of sushi, the restaurant also offers a Morimori series in its menu, which features an abundance of sushi atop a plate. The house special is Kaisen Don (a bowl of rice topped with seafood), made with fresh fish and seafood delivered directly from the market and Hokkaido-grown rice; the restaurant offers more than 30 different varieties of Don, besides a comprehensive range of other fishermen’s cuisine delicacies evocative of the seas off Hokkaido, including rice-balls, sashimi, Red King Crab and broiled Okhotsk Atka Mackerel.     A sushi restaurant located close to the Goryokaku fort. The restaurant's sushi is made with seafood picked in the market by the owner himself. Sushikin is popular with local regulars. The restaurant's service is excellent and Sushikin was listed in the Michelin Guide Hokkaido 2017 Special Edition. Local musician Teru of the group Glay has eaten here with his family since he was a child and Sushikin is also a destination for fans of the band. The restaurant's sea urchin rolls, topped with shredded konbu seaweed, are called Glay Rolls.

Ezo style sushi is said to be characterized by its emphasis on manipulating ingredients as little as possible and focusing on freshness and quality above all else. The restaurant has a tank for keeping live abalone, ensuring you can enjoy the freshest abalone meat straight from the tank. The restaurant's prices are also reasonable and it is popular in part because of its hearty portions of fresh seafood. The restaurant is snug but has 10 counter seats as well as a tatami mat seating area with a sliding shoji door, making it easy for families to eat here as well.
