    It is a complex of JR station and shopping facilities, such as Amu Plaza, Bungo Niwasaki Market etc. I remember that there was no such a beautiful station building as I went to Oita a few years ago...

    A department store connected directly to the west entrance of Yokohama Station. The facility is host to a variety of establishments with a focus on youthful fashion brands and lifestyle goods shops. Floors B1 and B2 are dedicated to restaurants and cafes. There’s also a high class Queen’s Isetan supermarket on floor B1. The facility’s rooftop is an airy and open terrace, and visitors can do Japanese-style barbecuing here from April to October. Anything and everything you could need to barbecue is sold on-site, making it easy to show up and start barbecuing without any advance preparation. You can also bring in meats and vegetables purchased in the supermarket in the basement.

There are stores selling famous Toyama confectionery products and handicrafts, along with local specialty foods such as masu (sea trout) zushi, and a variety of restaurants, which include a sushi-go-round restaurant serving sushi made from fresh fish and seafood caught in Toyama Bay, a restaurant serving Toyama Black Ramen noodles, a restaurant serving white prawn cuisine, and more. The 15th day of each month is “TOYAMARCHE Day,” on which various special products and exclusive goods are available.

    A complex consisting of a town-run community facility and Shizukuishi Station on the JR Tazawako Line. The building's design was inspired by the children's stories of Kenji Miyazawa and has been selected for inclusion of a list of the Tohoku region's 100 best stations. A destination, crammed with the unique charms of Shizukuishi, on the first floor, you can find a tourism and cultural exchange center; and Horosuke Hoho, an izakaya (Japanese pub) offering a wide variety of choices, including lunch options, yakiniku (Japanese barbecue), and of course popular izakaya options. On the second floor, there's Kobirikko, a restaurant serving Japanese-style fast food; and Ekinaka Sanchoku, a shop which sells rice, vegetables, Koiwai dairy products, Shizukaishi beef, and souvenirs.

    お土産屋かテイクアウトのお店ばかり、日中は座って電車を待てるようなお店は有りません。シャッターが閉まっているエリアも有ります。寂しい感じですね。
