- "An aquarium that's part of the Takumi no Yakata Museum. It's in a traditional farmhouse built in 1882 by Kawajiri Jisuke, a master carpenter in the Hida lineage. Recreating a rich riparian environment, the aquarium has about 3,000 freshwater fish. These include large iwana char that are no longer found in Hida, nearly extinct kajika, and roughly one-meter long Sakhalin taimen. You can also experience garra rufa, also known as ""doctor fish,"" that eat dead skin."

- The Kita no Daichi no Aquarium, which is the first in Japan to have a waterfall basin tank, lets you experience riverside living creatures from the great northern land. Phantom freshwater fish Japanese huchen are raised and kept here, growing up to just about one meter in length. Please enjoy a look at the freshwater fish from around the world raised on Onne's water. From JR Rubeshibe Station, it takes about 20 minutes by bus headed for Roadside Station Onneyu Onsen. Get off at the final stop and walk two minutes. It is about 2 hours 20 minutes by car from the Asahikawa Airport.

室蘭道の駅みたら室蘭の前にある。ビジター大人入場料400円。小さな子供向けの遊園地もあり、子供連れには良い場所。北海道に住む魚やカニを中心に、外にはトド、アザラシやペンギンも見ることが出来ました。

アマゾン展示ゾーンが改修中のために入場無料とのことで小さな子を連れて行ってみました。川崎駅前のルフロンの9〜10階にあるのですが、無料のためか小さな子連れがたくさんいて2台のエレベータだけでは捌ききれていませんでした。展示しているのはどちらかというと地味な川の魚がほとんどで小さな子達はすぐに飽きていました。これでは、アマゾン展示ゾーンが戻ったとしても大人1名の入場料2,000円高いと思います。

かなり、意外な水族館です。ほぼ、道の駅と思って、トイレ休憩に寄りましたら、横には、おさかな館と銘打って、水族館があります。ペンギンさんの行進などもあり、面白い施設になっています。

娘の誕生祝いでボルベリアダグリに泊まった次の日にイルカランドを観光しました。イルカのショウの演目も多彩で娘がイルカと写真を一緒に撮ることもできたので大満足でした。ミニ水族館やミニ動物園、食事処、土産屋など随分と飽きずに観光できました。

閉鎖されていた施設がリニューアルして中にも入れるようになったのですが、いかんせんアクセスが悪すぎる。今の寂れた状況を鑑みれば前任者の方針がやはり正しく、人件費に無駄な金を使わず外観を見学できる施設にするだけでいいんじゃないかなと思いました。

しまなみ海道のサイクリングで立ち寄りました。 因島側の因島大橋の出入口前の道をブルーラインとは反対側に進み、約１０分ほどのところにあります。 小さな水族館ですが、入場料無料と言うのが良いです。 館内は、大水槽とタッチプール、小さな水槽が１５個ほどあり、解説とともに展示されています。 タツノオトシゴやヒラメなどがいて、特に珍しい魚が展示されている訳ではありませんが、やっぱり水族館は癒されます…… １...
