    A shrine standing along the Mizuki Shigeru Road, a popular tourism destination in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to a 300 year old Japanese zelkova tree and a three meter tall block of granite yokai (Japanese folk monster) which was put into his heart and soul by manga artist Shigeru Mizuki. The grounds are filled with statues of yokai characters from Mizuki’s hit comic, “GeGeGe no Kitaro,” such as an Ittan Momen-themed torii gate and Medama Oyaji purifying fountain. The automated fortune dispenser, in which small yokai figures deliver a mikuji fortune slip, is a popular feature of the shrine. The shrine also sells popular souvenirs such as yokai ema votive tablets, protective charms, and protective seals.

    A miniature “yokai” (Japanese folk monster) theme park located behind the Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Museum, a popular tourism destination in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture. Here you can meet Kitaro, Nurikabe, Medama Oyaji, and other yokai characters which appear in Shigeru Mizuki’s hit manga comic, “GeGeGe no Kitaro,” in statue and cutout form. Park facilities include the children-oriented “Kitaro’s House;” various commemorative photo spots; and Yokai Nakamise, a shop selling yokai goods and merchandise. At the Yokai Chaya café, you can enjoy a popular yokai latte or a local burger.

The garden's shop also sells original products created using azuki beans and other items from Tokachi.

    This is a very large garden & not typically Japanese. In Autumn there were still many flowers to be seen, including salvias & very large hydrangeas.

    Felt like legolands little brother but not in a bad way. My 4 year old son had a blast on the bumper boats and the roller coaster but I just felt nickel and dimed for a bag of rocks, the water park...

    I thought it was too expensive for the experience we had, the pamphlet showed a lot of attractions, few animals, the hall of mirrors goes without saying, disappointing, the horror room too...

You can enjoy a view of the Kanto Basin and surrounding mountains from the 50-meter-tall ferris wheel, and there’s also a rollercoaster, merry-go-round, the “Alaska Land Ice Hall” where you can experience minus 30-degree temperatures, and several other attractions.

    他の方のレビューにもあるように、完全に子供向けです。今回は台風が来ている、という中行ったので、お盆時期にも関わらず最初はほぼ貸切状態でした。親子4人で行きましたが、二人は父と6歳息子はフリーパス、母と0歳息子は入場料のみで入ったのでコスパも良かったです。雨も止んで急に暑くなってきたら、氷の館が人気で「温度調整中」ということで入れなくなったのが残念でした。

    An amusement park located close to Sanyo Electric Railway Sumaura-koen Station. Reached by riding the Sumaura Ropeway, the park has a variety of facilities, as well as a rotating observation tower and observatory which command views of area scenery like the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Visitors can also enjoy barbecuing with an advance reservation depending on the season. The park serves Yamahiko and Umihiko wine patterned after the colors of the ropeway's gondolas. With facilities like a small children's playground and mini car land, the park is a perfect play destination for children. There's a flower promenade and plum forest for adults. A cafe in the observation tower serves a variety of seasonal items.

The park runs fondly remembered rides of old, including a merry-go-round, a choo-choo train, and an airplane tower, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. The wooden horse stable runs five automated horse rides that are Registered Tangible Cultural Properties. Entrance is free. The large rides cost 50 yen, while the wooden horse rides, popular with local children, are 10 yen.

    ムーミンバレーパークに隣接して、こちらの入園は無料です。 大きな池の周りに、レストランや北欧雑貨と地元の産物が購入できます。 春の暖かい日はオススメです。さほど密になるほど人が集まっていないですし、あちらこちらにベンチを準備してくれているので、ゆっくり時間を過ごせます。 景色を楽しみに、公園へ行く感じの場所ですね。 スターバックスも出店してて、ちょっと驚くました。
